Parents in Partnership
The partnership between home and school is vital, with mutual trust and clear communication at the heart of this partnership. As we work together, the advantages for your child's learning are enormous.
There are many opportunities for parents, grandparents and carers to become more involved in the life of the school, and we hope to make the most of your support and expertise. Police checks and DBS checks are carried out on all adults working in school.
If you are able to help, please talk with your child's teacher.
The school has a Home School Agreement to support our partnership.
Communication
Class teachers are generally the first point of contact - we are happy to speak with you at a mutually convenient time. We shall certainly contact you if we are concerned about your child in any way, but we also value the importance of letting you know when things are going well. The Headteacher is available every morning from 8.30am on the school playground, or by appointment with the school office at other times.
Our school's newsletter is produced weekly. This is sent electronically to parents on Fridays, as are other letters and questionnaires.
Parents are invited to regular progress meetings, workshops, events and assemblies throughout the year.
