Expansion
Following consultation in 2013, Oxfordshire County Council made the decision to expand Wolvercote School to meet demand for places from a growing population.
From September 2014, 45 pupils have been admitted each year into our Reception classes. Eventually this will mean Wolvercote will operate as a 1.5 form entry school.
The building project will eventually include new classrooms for Nursery, Reception and one brand new Key Stage 1 classroom, plus studio and plant room and the refurbishment of various rooms within the school. We moved into the new Key Stage 1 classroom and studio in December 2015, and look forward to the completion of this project later in 2016.
During the building works, contractors have unearthed a Victorian Well and a Roman brooch: we hope to have the brooch on display in our school this year.
