Wolvercote Primary School

As part of our efforts to make Wolvercote Primary School more aware, we have drawn up a Travel Plan. You can read it here.

 

In June last year, we reviewed our Plan, and carried out a survey in each class to find out how people travel to and from school. We were thrilled to discover that we had 173 children walking or scooting to school, and another 47 children cycling or travelling by cycle to school. This is 67% and 18% of our school respectively, or 85% of our school. This is one of the best results in the whole of Oxfordshire, and an improvement of 8% since November.

 

Our Eco Team meets with Mrs Ettouil regularly, and are currently investigating how efficient our Solar Panels are working, and are planning to develop some of the new KS1 garden space.
